Cowboys!

Maybe I am becoming a Texas girl after all! I was having an artist block. Mike suggested I go back to what I used to love about drawing and painting. I used to always draw famous people and super-models. When I worked in fashion illustration and retail advertising, it was all about beautiful people to sell clothing and merchandise. Inspired by re-watching "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" this summer, I decided to paint some handsome cowboys. These are painted in watercolor.

Things I've been working on

The Express-News had me do a painting of Tim Duncan when he retired this summer. They used it in a special section devoted to him. Love my Spurs!

I also worked on another pet portrait commission. This lab is an Alabama football fan!
