I was hired by the San Antonio Express-News to illustrate several stories back in April. One was the Final Four basketball tournament in San Antonio. Second was a story in their special publication about playing for Spurs coach Coach Gregg Popovich.

Cowboys!

Maybe I am becoming a Texas girl after all! I was having an artist block. Mike suggested I go back to what I used to love about drawing and painting. I used to always draw famous people and super-models. When I worked in fashion illustration and retail advertising, it was all about beautiful people to sell clothing and merchandise. Inspired by re-watching "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" this summer, I decided to paint some handsome cowboys. These are painted in watercolor.
